Riley is HOME

I placed Dixie next to him till she begins her journey. I have a froggy holding an umbrella to catch all of Mommy's tears. Those pretty pretty flowers were handmade by Zack Rabbit and sent to him when we first learned he had cancer, He sniffed and sniffed his flowers. The flowers are placed on top of a clay mold of Riley's paw print. The Snowbaby is holding a snowglobe of an angel.

Big Bed

I iz on da big bed and I slept and I didn't chew NUFFIN'! Mom sayz I iz getting to be so big. Daddy and me go for walkies and I love to play wif Sandy, but mom keeps calling me a new name and I don't get it....she is calling me "hemorrhoid"...HUH??? She sayz itz cause I walk right behind daddy and I won't let him out of my sight. I try and tell her, I loves my daddy and I fink he is cool and I want to be just like him and go and do everything he does....so I follow him EVERYWHERE he goes.

Guess what I did today?????

I PEED on mommy! Yup when she wasn't looking and daddy was, I lifted my leg and let loose and daddy said "NUFFIN"! Dats right he just laughed and laughed, he finks I am a funny pup. Mom on da otter hand is not really impressed wif my antics dis week, I chewed her baby blanket and now I have gone and peed on her. Daddy tried to reason wif her saying " he is marking his mommy, telling all the other dogs in the neighborhood, you are HIS mommy and don't even think about coming any closer. I don't fink mom bought it....Papa said he would fix her baby blanket this week, so she loves me again....for now.

DOGHOUSE

Mom sayz I am in da Doghouse and she does not see me getting out anytime soon. 

I may have accidentally CHEWED her baby blanket.

I said accidentally...its not like she found me wif it in my mouf, oh wait she did,

  I can explain..... I was moving it off da dresser and I kinda got it stuck on my toof and was pulling to get it free, really pulling.... but only to get it free, HONEST!!!

Yoga

Mom took her first yoga class today, she really liked it. She said it was an hour of nothingness. She really liked the whole stretch and relax part...she does this at home, i don't know why she thought she needed to go to the gym to relax. I help her relax all day...oh wait yelling "Titan?" is not relaxing...well she does it a lot so i thought she liked it, oops my bad. Boo is starting to eat more, fank goodness she was scaring mommy....as for scaring mommy, we had tornado warnings at our house, we NEVER have tornado warnings, mom wouldn't let us go outside she said we would blow away like Toto did, ahhh who is Toto?

Hello, Titan here.....We are doing as well as can be expected. Mom is getting better and daddy is too...I keep them loaded up in da kisses department, I giving enough for two, (me and da Riguy) Annabelle is grieving big time, she haz been vomiting, but I think she will be ok soon.

I'm sorry to write Riley crossed over Rainbow Bridge yesterday morning, he had a seizure then was diagnosed with fluid on his heart, his mommy and daddy are very sad. I, Titan will be taking over his blog so we can continue to share our misadventures the way Riley would have wanted....so now we are going to call it the Terrible Tagliavia Mis-Adventures.

Hi I iz still here I just don't get much 'puter time anymore....mom sayz dat is going to be fixed real soon cause i have lotz to tell. Just wanted to stop and and say my eye is doing great, mom sayz i iz as handsome as ever so dat is good to hear. 

Mom and daddy haz to go into Boston dis week to Fenway Bark, oh i mean Park...i fink dis is where daddy said he is going to see da Green Monsta...why in da heck would he want to see a green monsta, he iz weird, but oh well he'z my dad. Mom sayz she is excited to go because this is da one time dey get to go to da ballpark and sit in REALLY expensive seats and enjoy a double header...ahhh I don't fink i like the sound of dat? Double header? Doez dat mean you will be gone ALL DAY??? oh well dat means Auntie Erin and Papa will come and visit wif us and take us out to...well you know what we do outside i don't have to paint a picture for you, right?

Guess who came to see me today?

My PAPA and GRAMMY...dey came to get food from my momz but I know papa really came to check out my eye..and I must say i waz having a very good lookin day, da eye looks outstanding and papa said so too. Mom was very happy to come home dis morning and see dat my eye was looking so good, she finally breathed a little today because of it, she was starting to turn BLUE, hehehehehe.OH OH OH  I iz a very bad brudder......

set backs stinkers

I kinda have a bit of a set back going on, you see mommy came home from work yesterday to find me outside wif daddy going for a small morning walkie, she came up and was going to give me kisses till she saw my eye, mind you it doesn't hurt but mommy just looked and stared and then said, "what the BLEEP happened to his eye?" I knew right then my eye must not look good, cause mommy was using some really bad words, .....papa dos words were BAD, wif a capitol B. Anyway I gotz my kisses but not afta mom said I needed to go right in and get some ointment in my eye...let me tell you I get ointment in my eye every hour, dis is NOT da highlight of my day, but mom sayz its good for me. So in da house we go and mom getz out da yucky stuff and squirts it in my eye, yucky yuck yuckers. I got a really good treat afta so its not all bad. Then mom and daddy leave for the gym, they return home and mom says she really doesn't like the look of my eye but the last time this happened all they did was give me Rimadyl and ointment and sent me home, so mom haz both and is using them both to clear up my eye. She takes such good care of me, its not funny. Mom can't wait to come home and check my eye today, I hope it looks better, if not I may have to go back to the vetz...I have had enough visits der, I'm all set wif dat for awhile.

Hi everyone, just wanted to stop by and let you know I am doing great, I have finished my radiation and the eye is well...RED! I iz ok though, and I get to go for my walks everyday wif daddy, "cept in da rain...he thinks he will melt, I try and tell him he is a good daddy but not sweet enough to melt. Mom and I go for walks too, she is more the outdoorsy type to we walk in da rain, mom knows there is nuffin sweet about her....I iz kidding, momma...hehehehehe...Papa will agree wif me so der. Ok so dat is all for now but I promise I will be back here tonight wif an update as to all things RILEY!!!!

I haz my last radiation appointment tomorrow...mom said I haz been going for a month but I sure don't think so, its gone by so fast.

Walkie....

Mom asked me if I wanted to go for our morning walk this morning...I waz like DUH??? of course I want to go for my walkie. So mom put on my leash and off we went down the stairs and thats when it hit mom we were not going for a walk we were going for a RUN! I was feeling so good I wanted to go running this morning and running I did, but you should have seen me dragging mom, she couldn't keep up, I kept looking back as if to say " if you can't keep up, let go of the leash, you're holding me back."  I think she would have been happier if I told her we were running so she could have changed her shoes, oops bad doggie no biscuit. We went for a nice run then we returned home for some treats and water...ok turn about is fair play right? when mom gave me my favorite treat...FRENCH TOAST STIX they had a new ingredient in them...she slipped my meds in der...dats unacceptable. I was not happy but hey French toast stix wif meds is better dan no French toast stix at all right? Mom didn't even make me share wif da otta pups, how cool is dat, i haz dem all to myself. I manged to sucker dad in to a walkie later in da day, but he laid down da law before we left he told me " DIS IS A WALK NOT A RUN, GOT IT?" yeah yeah old man i got it...fun stuff wif da mommy only.

I gotz mail

I gotz da bestest thing ever in da mail today....I got handmade flower bouquet, it is incredible beautiful. The beautiful bouquet was made by none other than ZackRabbit and Plushateer. Fank you Fank you Fank you, I love it and mom read me da card, it was so nice of you to send me a get well card and handmade flowers. Mom putz dem on da window sill next to da puppy treats so Iz can see dem wif my good eye.

Radiation

I hadz my radiation today....it was not so bad except I  had to stay at da hospital for a long time wif out my mommy, i hate dat. Mommy came and gotz me as soon as dey called, she was right here waiting for me when i woke up from my very drug induced nappy. I had a little trouble standing when I got home but mommy cuddled wif me and we took a nappy....ok honestly...I took a nappy and mommy well she watched me sleep, cause she is a worry wort (dats what daddy calls her) Annabelle and Sandy were waiting for me at da door when I gotz home, Titan was barking his fool head off in da crate...I went and said a quick hello den I was ready to SLEEP. Titan climbed up on da bed and we all took a nappy together....
    I iz so sorry dis iz all over da place but hey, I got some really good drugs today and they have not quite worn off yet, so I in a la la land state of mind. Lalalala oh look a kitty..... oh where was I ? I fink I might have a touch of ADHD at da moment...

Thank you so much for all your support...we are doing ok, mommy and daddy are still crying every now and then but they are getting better. I start my radiation on Friday at 11 am, they tell me i won't feel a thing. My CT scan went very well the other day however my eye is really really red and swollen, but it doesn't hurt at all. They did find the tumor and it is HUGE we are talking golf ball size as mommy put it, but I don't feel any pain. I know dis cause da doctor tried to push my eye back in my head and I didn't even wince, nothing didn't feel a thing....Mommy and daddy sure did wince, they actually cried at the thought of da doctor hurting me. I am going to see a very nice Dr Lee on Friday and he is going to give me my radiation then I get to go hone and cuddle wif my mommy cause daddy will be going to work.

I haz a tumor called "SARCOMA" behind my eye...da vet said it is an aggressive type of cancer. Mom and daddy keep crying and giving me hugs and kisses. Mommy sayz I iz going to start radiation next week to keep me comfortable, I am in no pain so mom iz happy bout dat...but dat is all she is happy about...she tells daddy her whole world is falling apart. I will bloggie more later but right now I haz to go take care of mommy...dose tears just keep coming...i getting all wet, shake shake shake....

Ct scan

Hi everyone just wanted to let you know that I go for my CT scan in the morning....Mommy haz to drop me off at 7:30 am and I can not go home till after 9pm...dis iz going to be a very long day away from my mommy. I don't like it one bit and I know my mommy hates it as much as I do, daddy sayz he getz a raw deal on dis blog cause I never mention him but I know he loves me as much as mommy does, so daddy I mention you ok? My daddy iz da bestest daddy ever....Hi daddy!!!!

I iz going to the vet hospital today for a follow up appointment for my eye, please wish me luck and say a pray for me that it iz an infection and not a tumor, fanks.....

Sick

I am very sick right now, I haz a swollen eye and da vet finks it may be a tumor pressing on my eye making it pop out of socket, dis is not good and Mommy is a wreck...things don't look good and da vet said I can not see out of dat eye anymore...dats ok i know where my mommy, daddy and food bowl are...so i ok wif dat. I am not in pain, but i look funny wif one BIG eye bulging out of my head...I am on lots of medicines. We should know more by Monday, please say a prayer for me, fanks in advance.....hugs, Riley

Mom sayz da new furniture is coming today!!!!! Mom is super excited about dis, cause she sayz she is done wif watching TV on da floor...why? Da floor is not so bad...we haz been cuddling on da floor in da sleeping bag...

Well mommy is finally letting me get on my bloggie, but it is only to tell you that I am moving and won't be on all that much over the next few days. We have to wait for internet service at da new house, stupid  stupid stupid...I want to blog...I iz a bloggie doggie don't dey understand? Mom sayz to be patient and dey may have a cancellation, yeah right...I fink she is trying to pacify me. I haz lots to tell you but no time to get it all in....Daddy and mommy are both on vacation now while we are moving...oh did I mention we are moving on Wednesday and Tuesday we are getting a snow storm...I bet you can imagine how so very happy this makes mommy. Mommy loves the first snow fall...then she is DONE wif snow for the rest of the winter.

Woof...

 Mommy managed to get her Red Sox tickets...she is so happy, dis is da one game mommy and daddy goto every year...they sit in da EMC Club and feast on Lobster Rolls and Turkey Club sandwiches and are surrounded by the Silver Slugger Bats, Gold Gloves and 2 World Series Trophies. Dey even take a private escalator to the EMC Club, no waiting in line...VIP treatment, now you see why dey only go once a year?

Just have a second, I was snoring da night away and den Titan wanted to go outside so daddy is wif him now, but i haz to get back in der so Sandy can't have my cuddle spot next to daddy...she already had it earlier to day, not fair.....

Painting

Mom told me she and daddy were gonna go paint the old house yesterday...well I'm not sure how much paint actually made it on da walls cause mommy was covered in purple paint, she looked pretty but paint stinks, I no like it. Daddy said he painted da ceilings and da walls in da hallway, but I no believe him, he wasn't wearing any paint. Mom painted and wore paint, daddy says he painted but no paint to be found, hmmm whats a pup to fink? Is someone lying or did daddy change his clothes??? Mom and daddy say dey are going back today to finish up some more painting....mom will finish da bafroom and daddy will work on da living room and hallways, dey say if dey have time dey are gonna start da bedroom. I don't fink dey gonna have time cause mommy is gonna wanna sleep and if she doesn't get to sleep she can be CRANKY!!!!! I fink daddy will bring her n=home and den go back and finish so he no have to listen to her complain about not sleeping....if he was smart this would be the plan.

New stuff

Mommy tells me we have heat at da old house, now I can go for rides over der and visit. We have heat and water, woohoo...mommy was at da old house last night and it was 64 degrees, mommy was laughing cause the house has never been 64 degrees before, we like it on da cool side or at least mom does, me NOT SO MUCH!!! I got short fur and not a lot of coverage..so I haz to be under my blankies. Mom says she is going to paint this weekend and next..she mentioned changing the kitchen to a reddish color...I fink it will be cool, but DON"T move my food dish...leave it right where I left it, on da floor next to da cabinets...no no no don't touch it. She also said she is painting her and daddy's bedroom, she finks she is going to paint it eggplant but I don't fink daddy is going to let her, hehehehehe. Mommy I fink will get her way she always does, but don't tell daddy, I tell him he wins so I not hurt his feelings. Eggplant, not sure how I'm going to spin the daddy win on this one but I a smart pup, I'll figure it out, I haz to our manly pupness is at stake.

Hi Papa and Zack and my otter anipals....we did a whole lot of nuttin today, but I heard mommy tell daddy I was going for a ride tomorrow, Daddy said he needed a coffee buddy, that's me, that's me!!! We are gonna go to the old house and drop off da new lights and see da new furnace...HEAT!!!! Dey are going to turn it on on Monday so daddy says I haz to wear my coat cause it is going to be cold there...dats ok I love my coat. Mommy will be home sleeping wif Titan cause she haz to go out den to work tomorrow night, she is busy, sometimes she never stops...I hope I get my cuddle time wif her tomorrow???

HI....

Hi to all my friends, we as a household didn't do much today...we kinda all just hung out. Mom and I cuddled for some of da morning, then she and daddy went to visit Gram and guess what? They didn't take Sandy. Nope she stayed home wif me...we cuddled on da couch, it was very cold outside mommy said, somefin like 10 degrees. I know it was cold cause mommy put my stylish coat on me so I could go outside, she loves me, she really loves me, hehehe. When mom and daddy got home I guess it was time for football cause daddy had that glazed over look in his eyes as he watched the big talking square box. He shouted at da fing many times..mom calls it da TV, but I call it da big talking box. Anyway...Titan was kinda a god boy at least I didn't hear dad say any of dos bad words at him. Annabelle needed her barking collar today...I fink she got a little too comfortable not having it on, but boy did she remember what it was when she tried to bark at Sandy over of all fings my space on da couch wif daddy...ahem girls.... dat spot is mine!!!!!! Later in da day I decided I'd had enough of da pups I was gonna go nappy wif mom...and she cuddled me right up and we slept till she had to go to work.

2010...here we go....

2009 went out wif a flood in da basement...mom fought it was a toilet dat let go, BUT she found out it was da whole septic system dat let go! She is not happy but she no have to pay for it so....we gettin a whole new septic system, yeah....ahh wait what is a septic system and why is mommy so happy she not paying for it??? my day...the life of Riley

My daddy started off wif mommy comin home and we went outside....then mommy went to bed and I went wif her cause i her cuddlekins. We woke at 8am ...ahhh mom we weren't in bed long enough to actually fall asleep..we went to bed at 7am, oh well, we are up. Mom fed us some kibble it was yummy, but we really wanted the peanut butter squares mom and daddy were having,they called it a power breakfast. Mom and daddy left for the morning and I was left wif Titan and Annabelle...Sandy dat rascal went for a car ride again!!!! She gets to go all the time, not fair, I used to be the prize pup who got to go for all da rides...

MOM WHAT HAPPENED????

Mom and daddy came home and mom decided it was time to actually get some sleep, so she and I cuddled up on da bed together wif Titan in his crate and went to sleep for da sfternoon, dat was until daddy brought Sandy home and she decided it was time to

BARK AT NOTHING!!!!!! She barked for about 20 minutes, I fought moms head was going to explode but she just held me tight and said "soon she will SHUT UP", well it wasn't soon but she did shut up. We slept for a few hours den Titan decided he had been a good boy long enough, he wanted OUT OF DA CRATE, and NOW!!!! Mom got up,she was not happy but she got up cause we always come first... at least she says we do sometimes I hear her tell daddy.."You're on duty...I'm OFF, don't let them bug me, I need to get some sleep and more than an hour..." Daddy just says ok, gulp! Anyways...as I was saying mom got up and took us out and fed us some more kibble and again she ate a peanut butter square and didn't offer me none...."PAPA can you hear me???? She did not share her square, not even a crumb, nothing, me the PUP of all PUPS who usually get s a special treat out of da view of da otters, but NOTHING!!!!!

Zack if you read this, could you tell mom I want a bite,a nibble crumb, somefing... thanks...or if not could you save me one form da cooking show, PLEASE?????

After mom took us out yet again (Titan)...she got ready for work and as soon as she was done, she came in and cuddled wif me on da big bed our spacial time before she weaves da house...ahhh still NO PEANUT BUTTER SQUARE, not so special, MOTHER! after we cuddled she said goodnight and put the terrorist in his box...

hehehe I mean Titan in his crate.

Back in Boston

Mommy and Papa are back in Boston for another biopsy....hoping they can get in and out quickly before the snow sets in. Daddy just called mom and told her that Sandy ran away this morning, he found her 4 houses away. She went running after a doggie who came into her yard. Daddy was not happy and he used all kinds of BAD words when he called mommy...i had to go hide cause he was loud and da words scared me...boy I don't fink I have ever heard daddy dat mad before, ever. I am always da good boy, I never give dem any problems, Titan on the otter hand...Oh my goodness he is a terror sometimes, he loves to climb up on the counter and get into anything he can....mom not liking this very much.
Mom and i cuddled all night on Saturday, we went to bed at 5pm and we woke Sunday at 6am...i was her cuddlekin....it was great and I knew mommy really needed her sleep. On Sunday we went to bed at 4pm and we woke dis morning at 4am, dis was a very good weekend for sleeping in...like I said mommy really needed it so I kept her company..yup cuddlekins iz me.

Christmas morning

We survived da morning, we got lots of prezzies from mom and daddy. We also gave mommy da best Christmas gift, one she didn't expect....we let her sleep for 6 whole hours, we didn't bark or whine or nuffin, we were so good, even Titan. Mommy was so happy when she woke up and realized it was time to go to work and not middle of da afternoon. She was so proud of us dat she gave us all extra special hugs and kisses. I hope she told daddy we were good, maybe we can get an extra bagel treat from him....Hmmmm? We got our Secret Santa package and mom took video and as soon as she can figure out how to upload it, I will post it....if she ask me I wud tell her I am all knowing puppy ya know???

Mom and are writing this one together...ok, I writing she reading and critiquing ...

2009

*January 1, 2009... mom and daddy came hiome early from a New Years eve party only to be home 20 minutes when all of a sudden the carbon monoxide dector went crazy, mom and dad looked at each other and said " What the hell is that?" They quickly realized what it was and went looking for the cause...sure enough as soon as daddy oopened the basement doors he could see da flames...da basement was on fire! It was a good thing they came home when they did, cause had they not da whole house would have gone up in flames and we would not be here, thankfully we all made it out safely. Mom should have known then what the rest of 2009 would look like...it did not get better....

*February 2, 2009... Papa had his hip replaced...no problems wif da hip "cept he really pissed off daddy by recovering so quickly from surgery

(oh, mom approved da word, she said it was da only one appropriate)

*March....not a bad month, nothing much happened...

*April 3, 2009....where do I begin? Uncle Dana called mom and said "dad needs to go to the hospital but won't can you talk to him?" She said just call 911, they did and she got a call saying he was at Marlboro Hospital, then a few minutes later Grammy called and said he didn't look good and they were going to transfer him to UMASS, she said keep me updated...no one really explained what was really going on, so mom wasn't too worried just yet....mom went to work adn about midnight the ER MD called and said get here now, he won't make the night...she left flying, i don't fink her tires touched da ground....She and daddy got der and it looked BAD!!!! Mom cried but remained strong and in da room wif Papa always asking questions and not liking  da answers but knew everything going on, and took control, Grammy had done enough and it was time for mom to step up and ease things for her a bit. Mom signed the Health Care Proxy but did so wif a heavy heart and signed for him to have the Balloon pump placed in his leg to keep his heart functioning.

(he was in complete heart failure) Papa was stabilized and the procedure went well enough for him to be transferrred to Mass General in Boston the next morning...here mom says she finally met real Angels...one special Angel was Ellen his nurse....she was a true angle, she never left Papas side for one minute the first day...even when Papa wasn't on his best behavior. The month of April had good days and a lot of very bad days,

but we all made it to May

*May...Papa is still in da hospital and still has da balloon pump in his leg, during May we got the news Papa would be listed for Transplant, woohoo!!

*May 30, 2009 RN Hallary called @ 11pm to say..."get here now, we have a heart for your dad" Mom leaves work headed for Boston, gets there in time to see Papa before surgery...

*May 31,2009...Dr MacGilvery called to update us that surgery was called off because the heart was not viable once it arrived in Boston. Back to waiting....

*May 14, 2009...daddy got a call on his cell phone from his dad, whom he hadn't spoken to in 6 years, we knew this was not a good sign, so mom returned the call and had to tell daddy his only uncle had passed away in his sleep da night before, he was 45 yrs old.

*June 9,2009...Papa got his artificial heart, dey call it an LVAD (left ventricular assist device)...Papa was hooked up to batteries....we call him da "energizer Papa"

July 19, 2009...mom and dad went to Albany NY to pick up Titan and bring him home.

*July 20,2009...Papa came home from da hospital for a home visit on his birthday, Titan accompanied him...Titan met Pugsy dat day.....we were happy to have dat ball of energy out of da house, we didn't realized dey were bringing him home to stay..

*August 28, 2009 mom and papa go to Mass General for a routine check up and his MD said she was going to activate him back on the transplant list and see what happens...little did we know dat visit would change our lives forever, especially Papas...

*August 31, 2009...noontime, Papa called mom to tell her he was going to Boston, his new heart was waiting for him,

WHAT???? NEW HEART????

Mom rushed to Boston to see Papa before surgery...5pm off to Surgery....9:40pm, first cut made, transplant is on and new heart ready to go....

September 1, 2009 5am...Dr MacGilvery tells mom "it went perfect, new heart is beating on its own w/ no complications.

*Sept 1, 2009 3pm breathing tube out and Papa is awake..wow, mom says he was PINK..no more Blue Papa ( I wondered wif his new coloring if I would recognize him,

I had never seen a pink papa before)

Sept. 29, 2009...Papa goes home from Hospital...for GOOD!!!!

*early October, Grampy asked Daddy to move into his house and take it over...he was giving him da house...we gonna have a new Big house to run and play...and a new sister too...her name is Sandy....

*October 31, 2009...we move into da new house!!!! We love it and Grampy loves dat we are finally moved in...he and Grammy moved into assisted living da week before.

*November...uneventful until Thanksgiving... Daddy's mom called to say Grampy wasn't feeling well but would see the doctor on Monday...

*November 29, 2009 Grampy admitted to hospital...
*November 30, 2009 mom and daddy visit Grampy and have a nice conversation...
 Grampy tells Daddy he is proud of him and dat he loves him...
8 hours later Grampy passes away...

he was supposed to come home da next day...what happened????

December 1, 2009...Family drama ensues and now all bets are off on da house...da kids Grampy's kids want it sold and they want da money...no regard for Grampy's wishes at all...its all about da money...dey are money hungry vultures...mom and daddy now have to buy da house dey were given a mere 6 weeks prior...DRAMA!!!!

December 23, 2009...furnace fire back at da old house...do you see a pattern repeating?? Mom hopes not...She hopes 2010 will be better....

Mom says you have to try and find da good in everyfing...

Mom always say I have da best adventures...well mommy wanted one of her own.

Yesterday she was not smiling when she got home from her MIS-ADVENTURE...

It all started when daddy didn't let mommy sleep.... apparently daddy doesn't read this blog and left Titan home wif mom again and guess who didn't sleep? Mom or Titan! ***Side note to dad ...if you leave da house and mom is TRYING to sleep, ummmm...

She is not going to be happy to hear your special ring going off...hey just a heads up dude, * She was NOT HAPPY, I fink I heard a few of dose bad words again!!!!

Oh yeah, where was I oh thats right the ringing phone, so mommy got up and called you back...did you really say you were checking on her? DUH...she was trying to sleep, ok no need to beat a dead horse...She got ready and met you at da old house to finish cleaning it out so dey can get ready to sell it...dey went to lunch den went back to da house to wait for da plumber to come and fix da heater. A few minutes later mom hears daddy scream " da house is on fire!!! Da house is on fire...yup Anipals da house really was on fire, da furnace blew up...oh update everyone is safe. Da furnace and the surrounding walls not so safe, dey a little charred and ummm BLACK!

Can you see where da ADVENTURE became a MIS-ADVENTURE?

Mom ....

Ok first off, I iz da good puppy, just ask mommy she will tell you hands down, there is no better pup. You see yesterday, mom had to sleep during da day cause she had to work at night, well I climbed up on da bed and snuggled wif her, den Titan stated to bark in his crate...he is in his crate cause if mommy left him out she would not have a house to wake up to. Titan has taken a liking to electronics..he has chewed the Blackberry charger and cord, he has also chewed the DVD cables, and daddy's winter boots. (I don't fink he is getting enough FIBER, but its just my opinion, what do I know I just a pup) So mom took him outside just to see if he needed to go, he didn't! Then mom put him back in his crate and climbed back into bed, she wasn't there 10 minutes when Annabelle decided it was her turn to whine. Mom got up again and took her out, she didn't need to go out either, by this time mommy is NOT happy and she was saying all kinds of words my puppy ears should never hear, I can't even repeat dem, dey were BAD! After all dis mom climbed back into bed and tried to sleep but I heard Titan start to whine again, I tried to warn him to shut up, but he would not listen to reason, so mommy finally got up and took us all outside; no one had to go but we sure did play for about 20 minutes in da snow...it was fun for us,but mom was NOT having any fun, i could tell cause it was very cold outside and I could see da steam coming out of her ears....she was MADDER than mad, but she let us play. When were done playing mom took us inside to eat dinner, it was yummy, she put sprinkle cheese on it. When we were finished mom took us out again, this time we behaved and went potty if we hadn't I think mom would have squeezed it out of each and every one of us, so we went. By the time we came in it was time for mommy to get ready for work, again she was not happy cause she didn't get any sleep, oops...hey it wasn't my fault I was sleeping till all puppy broke loose, hehehe.

What happened????

There was supposed to be something there this morning when i woke up!!! where is it????
Mommy made Papa the sole person responsible for his blog which can be found here http://papasnewheart.blogspot.com/    He needs to get on da ball and WRITE something, anything...gees, even I a puppy manages to post a thing or two a few days a week and I have paws!!!!! Get on it!!!!
Now back to our regularly schedule updates ....Our secret Santa gifts arrived but mommy said we couldn't open dem till Christmas, why not????? So for now they sit under da tree actually dey are da only gifts under da tree cause of family drama mom and daddy cancelled Christmas in our house...at lest da puppies are getting something. There was a BLIZZARD???? it must have missed us cause I only see a dusting of snow, but I hear as close as 15 miles away got 15 inches...phew we were lucky!!!!!

Here is my new friend Autumn..she found her FURever home a few weeks ago but I can finally welcome her on my blog, and thank goodness the secret was killing me. She is so cute and from what I hear she is fitting in nicely wif her new family. She is now one of three happy healthy pups who reside wif da "Cookie Fairy" (what a lucky pup)

2010

I promise 2010 will be a better posting year, mom says I haz to post everyday..if not everyday atleast 5 times a week...hey da paws can only type so much...but i will try.

 I miss all my friends, I hope to be in touch wif all of you real soon.

Fings are hopefully settling down on da home front.

Now lets get to a few updates, shall we.....

1. Papa is doing amazing, he had a bit of a cold; it does not effect his transplant the new heart is doing just great.
2.Gram is doing good, no more hospital visits for her, phew!
3.Mom is handing it all one day at a time
4.Dad is well,... he is managing, he would love to disown his mothers side of the family but he is holding strong for his Grams sake
5.Sandy is adjusting nicely to having siblings, she loves to play and her energy in never ending
6.Titan is paw-some, he is fitting in better and better everyday, mom took a nap wif him da otta day and he actually slept on da bed and didn't whine, chew or get into anything, he is such a good boy....He loves da snow!
7.Annabelle is ADJUSTING to having a sister, the bark collar keeps her grounded, she  is learning, but on a curve, hehehehe...love you BOOOOO!
8.I AM GREAT!!!! 'nuff said, hehehehe
9.I AM WONDERFUL, just ask my mommy.
10.I can do NO WRONG!!!! mommy says so...daddy not so much.

OMD, I am so sorry i haz not been here...my daddy's grampy passed away suddenly and we have been dealing with all the issues that come wif it. Daddy been so busy and mommy too, they are taking care of Grammy. Papa Paul is fine and dandy and the new heart is perfect, no rejection. Nothing else is new except Titan and Sandy NEVER stop, OMD they go all day and all night...I am 10 and I play wif her too, but seriously they play all day and night.

Zack has been caring for his plushateer for a few weeks now...i hope everything is ok and you are back to vlogging soon, mom says dey are da funniest fings she has seen in a long time...so get to vlogging ok? Plushateer...take care of yourself, hoping you are feeling better, mom is waiting for the next...

UGH!!!!!

First off, I can not make this stuff up.....daddy's Grampy (the one we got the house from) passed away suddenly Monday night. Mom and daddy are dumbfounded, they can't believe this is happening...they went and visited w/Grampy on Monday morning and everything was fine, so much so they made plans to have lunch together on Friday... now they will still be having lunch with grampy on Friday but in a whole new context. Mom is going to stay with Grammy tonight so that she doesn't have to be alone...they were married 60 years.

Mom is at the hospital with papa getting his biopsy done...then they are off to the transplant survivor and donor party at MGH, papa is excited to be going and meeting other transplant patients. Mom has been trying to figure out how many days off she gets because of the death, one says 3 days , and another says 1....so confusing, i just want her home wif me.

Thanksgiving was a fun day, da pups out numbered da humans...we rule! Papa cooked all da food and i didn't get any...no fair i have to eat kibble on Thanksgiving. Mom slid me some later on, hehehhe....the food mom says was so good da silly humans were fighting over da stuffing, usually its da potatoes, but not dis year. The little kids had make your own sundaes for dessert, they loved it and they really added the works, snicker, reeses PB cups,reeses pieces, m&m's, chocolate sauce,ice cream..I'm tellin ya da works.

Happy Turkey Day

I iz so sorry dat I haz been neglecting my blog, but hey I haz been busy. I haz been taking care of mommy, she hurt her back ya know. Den she went wif papa to Boston to get his new heart checked out and guess what? Mommy hit the deck and papa laughed, and laughed hard. Mom gave blood about an hour before and well it caught up wif her cause…she went down, all da way to da FLOOR, she landed in her apple juice, the same juice they had just given her to feel better. Oops, heheheh…I mean mom I hope you are feeling better? The good news is when she passed out she had to go to the emergency room to be checked out before they would let her leave, and while checking her out they noticed she had an abnormal T wave in her heart, so she gots to have that looked into especially wif papas history. So der you have my past few weeks in a nut shell, I promise to write more later…..

Happy Turkey Day

Hello everyone,I am just stopping by to tell you i have not forgotten about you...mom has been on vacation and loving life..She is not looking forward to going back to work but nows it is only for a very short time, she only works 12 days this whole month...and only 14 in December. We love the new house and the yard is incredible. My new sister Sandy is well she is a ball of energy...i love her but girl take it down a notch or two. Titan is enjoying having the run of the new house and yard, he loves that he is trusted enough to run off leash. Annabelle got a barking collar, she was not very happy about it but mom and dad loved the decision. Annabelle has learned not to bark when the collar is on, and crazy girl she lets us put the collar on her. She is a good girl and we love her now that she is quiet. The new house is very quiet and dark at night, we can not see any street lights so it is just the lights from the house that lights the yard, mom is getting used to the darkness, me i don't mind i kinda like it dark and quiet. Dad has finished power washing the house, it looks great and new...the white looks new and fresh. Dad also power washed the thermometers off the house along with all the mold and dirt. Mom loves the way the house looks now. I have been outside alot lately cause we have had the nicest weather lately, its been in the 70's unseasonably warm for November.

Bristol & Rocky

RIP Bristol...Bristol was a litter mate/sister to my boy Titan; she crossed over Rainbow bridge on Wednesday from complications to Parvo...she was a sweet sweet girl

This is ROCKY, Titans daddy...yes they look exactly alike, you really can not tell the difference. Rocky is very sick and has a 50/50 shot of pulling through, he is sick with an unknown virus that presents itself like Parvo but is not. he is at the vet receiving antibiotic via IV vein. We are praying for Rocky and his 2 lil pups who tested positive for Parvo on Wednesday, the vet says everyday their chances increase...keep fighting guys, love you.
